Electrolux agreement: even workers say yes

The workers also gave the green light. Electrolux employees today approved via referendum the agreement on the industrial plan signed at Palazzo Chigi on May 15th. 

The agreement reached between the government, the company, trade unions and local authorities foresees that the Swedish multinational household appliances invest 150 million euros over the next three years, saving wages and jobs, but also increasing productivity and cutting union breaks and leave. 

The consultation between the workers and employees of the four Italian plants had largely positive results: according to almost definitive data, the Forlì plant promoted the agreement with 74%, that of Solaro with 83% and Susegana with l '81%. As for the Porcia site, at the moment only the counting of the votes of the workers has been completed, with 75% voting in favor of the agreement.
