Acea, 2,1 million contract for hydraulic works and the digitalisation of networks in the Center and South

Acea Infrastructure vince two contracts since South Center for over 2 million euros. The Acea group company specializing in design and engineering services has won two significant contracts in Molise e Puglia for hydraulic works and the digitalisation of networks with a total value of approximately 2,1 million euros. Both projects, lasting two and a half and four years respectively, will be developed using advanced technologies to guarantee not only the construction of cutting-edge hydraulic works but also the protection and valorisation of the water resource.

Innovative project in Molise

The first contract, awarded by the company Grim which manages the water service integrated in Molise, concerns the design and implementation of works for the protection of the territory and water resources. The project involves the reduction of leaks in pipelines, the digitalisation and monitoring of networks throughout the region through the implementation of a new "territorial information system" (Sit) and a remote control system for water distribution. The intervention will involve 98 municipalities, replacing old meters with smart meters and implementing a plan for the districting of municipal distribution. The project aims to improve the efficiency of the water service through digitalisation and data analysis.

Technical support in Puglia

The second contract, announced byApulian Aqueduct which manages 254 municipalities, focuses on technical support during the execution of hydraulic works complex. These works include tanks, control chambers, piezometric towers, waste treatment plants, purification, water and sewerage lifting, inspection wells and the construction of new water and sewerage networks. The expected duration of the works is four years.
