Corporate welfare, Unicredit launches Benefit&Welfare

Corporate welfare is increasingly emerging as one of the main innovations of our social security system. Employers' initiatives aimed at increasing the personal and family well-being of workers are constantly increasing not only thanks to the innovations introduced by the 2016 Stability Law (favorable tax regime for productivity and performance bonuses), but also due to the sensitivity of many companies willing to take charge, with their own resources, of some workers' needs that the law deems worthy of protection. Employees are therefore offered "benefits" in the form of goods and services (not subject to taxes and social security contributions), and the result can be seen in terms of a greater reconciliation between the employee's working and private spheres, a real income support, a significant improvement in the business climate.

The increasingly widespread need of companies and workers to meet on this matter has prompted Unicredit to create a special range of products and services: it is called Benefit&Welfare and is, in essence, an articulated offer dedicated to the bank's "customer" companies with a twofold objective: on the one hand, to promote corporate welfare in them under the most diverse forms; on the other, to become the bank of reference for their employees.

Benefit&Welfare is made up of two different offers which can also be subscribed to by companies separately. The first is called Welfare and is offered in partnership with Easy Welfare, a leading company in Italy in the supply of welfare plans for businesses. Basically, Welfare allows the company to purchase, at favorable conditions, the corporate welfare packages sold by the Partner (for example, reimbursements of school expenses, agreements with theatres, spa expenses, sports activities, and so on). The company can choose between two different corporate welfare packages (SME Welfare, designed on the needs of small businesses, and Easy Welfare, dedicated to more structured businesses) or decide to create an ad hoc solution together with the Partner.

The second proposal, on the other hand, is the Benefit Pack and consists of the offer of preferential conditions for employees of UniCredit corporate clients on various products and services: ranging from personal loans to mortgage loans, from salary-backed loans to consultancy services by the MyAgents UniCredit1. Through a personal and confidential interview, MyAgents consultants can help company employees identify the most suitable products for their needs. To support this offer, you can also access the dedicated Bank@Work website (the "Workplace Bank", www.bankatwork.unicredit.it).

The employee of a company who decides to join Benefit&Welfare can take advantage of the products and services offered through various channels of the Bank: by going to a UniCredit branch, by calling the toll-free number of UniCredit Direct (800 078 700) or by contacting an agent of the MyAgents network.
