Generali presents the 3D version of the "Radici del Presente" museum, the archaeological collection of works from the Roman-Imperial age, exhibited in the Company's Roman headquarters in Piazza Venezia, which recounts the evolution of the heart of Rome through an innovative didactic solution ancient.

The Virtual Tour allows a 360° visit of all the rooms of the museum, in Italian and in English. It is possible to relive the history of the area between Trajan's Forum and the slopes of the Campidoglio, the evolution of Piazza Venezia - with a unique point of view on Trajan's Column - the cult of domestic deities and the relationship with the world of deceased. The virtual itinerary is enriched by numerous thematic cards and videos to deepen the knowledge of Roman culture and individual artifacts.

Overlooking the Imperial Forums, the museum has exhibited since 2012 the collection made up of three nuclei: the finds from the excavations carried out during the construction of the Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali and those of two historic Roman palaces, Palazzo Poli in Piazza di Spagna and Palazzo Merolli in via delle Tre Cannelle.

The Museum is housed in an exhibition area of ​​about 700 square meters and is made up of 300 exhibits, all of which date from the Roman period and can be dated between the XNUMXst and XNUMXth century AD, with the exception of a Greek relief from the XNUMXth century BC
