Vinifera: two days dedicated to the wines of the Alpine regions

Finally the curtain rises on Vinifera, the exhibition dedicated to artisanal wines from the Alps. Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May in the outdoor spaces of Trento Fiere. over 70 producers from the Italian Alpine regions, selected by the Centrifuga association organizing the event, from their tasting tables, will tell first-hand the fruits of a viticulture that can be defined as heroic. A story that will continue also in the summer months with the rich program of the Vinifera Forum: tastings, thematic conferences, guided tours of vineyards and artisan cellars, until the end of August 2021.

In Vinifera, in addition to meetings at the tasting tables, visitors will also be able to take part in two guided tastings: on Saturday 29, from 15 to 17 pm, “Affinità-divergenze. Teroldego and the other reds of the Dolomites" and Sunday 30 May, from 15 to 16 pm, "PIWI high-altitude excursion: the alpine variations of resistant vines". Tickets for both events are limited in number, with reservations required.

An area dedicated to food will instead feature eight food artisans, large producers and local restaurateurs linked to the area, with the possibility of consuming on the spot or taking the products home.

Also this year the La Picca d'Oro prize will be awarded by the Vinifera public to the best winemaker present. Voting forms will be available at the association stand.

“Our intent is to give a positive message, one of optimism and rebirth – comments Simone Prices, vice president of the Centrifuga association – The Vinifera review was born as a journey of discovery of authentic and genuine territories, those of the Alpine arc, made up of people who they work hard and live off the products of their land. These are women and men who have a vital force and an engaging optimism, a breath of fresh air, which we need at a time like this. After so many months of restrictions and isolation, now that the climate is milder, it's right to start looking to the future again and building new bridges, clearly in compliance with all safety regulations. Our wish is that Vinifera will be a moment of serene sharing".

The guide to Vinifera 2021 producers will be available in digital format, downloadable on the website www.viniferaforum.it starting from Friday 28 May and via QR code available in the spaces of the market exhibition. To access the free tasting itinerary, it is necessary to purchase a glass at the price of 15 euros. Given that the influx of visitors will be conditioned by compliance with the capacity limits and priority will be guaranteed to visitors who have purchased the glass in advance, it is advisable to register on the website www.viniferaforum.it. The performance will be guaranteed even in case of rain.
