Utility Manager: awards to Ferraris (Terna) and Sancinelli (Montello)

Luigi Ferraris, CEO and general manager of Terna, and Roberto Sancinelli, president of the Montello Group, will receive the awards at the annual M&A Utility Workshop on 5 March
“Manager Utility 2018” from Management of Utilities and Infrastructures (MUI), a quarterly magazine founded and directed by Professor Andrea Gilardoni of the Bocconi University.

In detail, Luigi Ferraris won the "2018 Award - Energy" for "the profuse commitment to Terna as an enabler towards an increasingly sustainable, efficient, safe and innovative energy model", reads a note.

Roberto Sancinelli, on the other hand, will receive the "2018 Award - Local Public Services" for "having led the transformation of Montello SpA into a leading Italian industrial company in the circular economy".

The winners are chosen in a secret ballot by the 80 members of the MUI Magazine Committees, which include professors and industry representatives. The jury of the "Utilities and Infrastructure Manager Award" is chaired by Andrea Gilardoni. Every year, two managers are awarded who have distinguished themselves for their contribution to the development of the system.

The award will be presented on 5 March 2019 in Milan (Palazzo Clerici) on the occasion of the XIX annual Workshop of the Observatory on Alliances and Strategies of the Pan-European Utilities Market.
