Usa, unemployment at its lowest since July 2008

The unemployment rate in the United States fell again in October, even improving on analysts' expectations, down to 5,8% from 5,9% in September. The figure is therefore better than the forecasts of analysts who expected a confirmation of 5,9% and shows the lowest value since July 2008.

Furthermore, according to data released today by the Labor Department, 214 jobs were created in the month, less than the 233 expected by the consensus. However, it should be considered that the September figure has been revised to 256 from 248 with an unemployment rate that remained unchanged at 5,9%.
