Unicredit fills up: the bank has announced that the period for exercising the option rights relating to the option offer to shareholders holding ordinary shares and those holding savings shares of up to no. 1.606.876.817 newly issued ordinary shares of Unicredit, with no par value. No. were exercised. 616.559.900 option rights and, therefore, subscribed for a total of no. 1.603.055.740 new shares, equal to 99,8% of the total number of new shares offered, for a total value of 12.968.720.936,60 euros, almost all of the 13 billion expected.
The rights will be offered by Unicredit on the Stock Exchange, pursuant to art. 2441, third paragraph, of the Italian Civil Code, through UniCredit Bank AG, Milan Branch, in the meetings of 27 and 28 February 2017, and in the meetings of 1, 2 and 3 March 2017, unless the offer is closed early case of full sale of the rights.
