Unicredit-SocGen Securities Services: agreement on securities services until 2026

The companies announce that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to extend the agreement on custody, settlement and market data management services for seven years, until September 2006.

Unicredit and Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) intend to renew their strategic partnership on securities services. The companies announce that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to extend the agreement on custody, settlement and market data management services for seven years, until September 2006.

“We have decided to extend this long-standing and successful partnership with Sgss – explained the co-chief operating officer of Unicredit, Ranieri de Marchis – to allow Unicredit to benefit from the expertise of our partner, in the best interests of our customers and in line with the Transform 2019 objectives”.

Bruno Prigent, global head of Sgss, said: “We are extremely proud of Unicredit's choice to confirm us as a reference partner. The deal underlines SGSS' commitment to help its clients navigate a financial landscape undergoing transformation and to provide them with high quality services”.

Sgss, the Italian subsidiary of the Société Générale group, has been operating in our country for 12 years, providing post trading services to institutional investors, including custody services, custodian bank for Italian funds and a paying agent for foreign funds.
