EU: Brussels closed for holidays, from today to Monday everyone is on holiday

Europe stops. Despite the crisis, despite the Greece issue which has made a strong comeback, despite the turbulence on the markets, the European Union closes its doors: for two days everyone is on holiday and nobody at work. On Ascension Day, all community institutions give in to their vocation and, crisis or no crisis, suspend all activity. So in the European Parliament, in the European Commission and in the European Council today and tomorrow there is no work. All closed, all stopped.

Legitimate decision, please. But at a time like this, maybe it's not the best choice. Sacrifices are asked of Greece, rigor and growth are asked of the Member States, everyone is asked to work to get out of the crisis. In this general climate, however, what message will Brussels send to the Greeks and to the markets today and tomorrow? Closed for holiday.
