Ubi Banca, net profit down by 7,6% in the nine months

On an annual basis, the figure drops from 197,7 to 182,7 million – The impairment of the investment in Intesa Sanpaolo for 109,2 million weighs on the third quarter above all – Core Tier 1 at 8,26%.

Ubi Banca, net profit down by 7,6% in the nine months

Ubi Banca closes the first nine months of 2011 with a net profit of 182,7 million euro, down by 7,6% compared to the 197,7 million recorded in the same period last year. Restricting the gaze to the third quarter alone, it is above all the economy that weighs on the accounts write-down of the investment in Intesa Sanpaolo for 109,2 million.

Il Core Tier 1 – explains the institute in a note – is all`8,26%, while the Total Capital Ratio reaches 13,17% (without considering a hypothetical dividend). As regards the profit net of non-recurring items and the Irap adjustment, the result stands at 108,7 million euro, against the 113,6 recorded in the first nine months of 2010 (-4,3%). .

The numbers have dragged down the share of Ubi in Piazza Affari. About an hour and a half after the start of trading, the shares were in the red by 2,35%, trading at 2,74 euros.
