Ubi Banca extends the sale of expired pledge policies

Where's Banca has decided to further extend, until next November, the sale of pledge policies that have expired or are expiring between December 2019 and October this year. This is one of the measures aimed at supporting the businesses and customers affected by the Covid-19 emergency.

The institute has branches dedicated to pledge credit in the cities of Milan, Monza, Pavia, Como, Crema, Varese, Bergamo, Brescia, Pesaro, Fossombrone, Macerata and Rome.

Meanwhile, on the corporate side, Intesa Sanpaolo filed a list of 15 candidates on Tuesday for the appointment of the members of the Board of Directors and of the Management Control Committee for the financial years 2020/2021/2022 of Ubi Banca.

In the note, Ubi recalls that the list presented by the shareholder Intesa Sanpaolo is currently the only list filed.

The two banks have announced that the merger will bring at least 5.000 exits, to be identified in a pool of 8.700 workers, against 2.500 hires. First Cisl, the banking union of the Cisl, has asked that "leaves be only on a voluntary basis, with new hires to be addressed mainly on the network".

Finally, regarding the performance of the stock on the Stock Exchange, the last session closed for Ubi with an increase of 0,59%, to 3,56 euros. On average for the last month, the stock loses 2,49%, but over the 6 months the performance marks a +61,12%.
