Troisi and the Taviani brothers, Cubism, auctions and exhibitions on FIRST Arte

T like the Taviani brothers but also like Massimo Troisi or like Quentin Tarantino. Who does not remember "The Night of San Lorenzo", the fantastic film by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, or "Groundhog Day from Three", another unmissable film by Troisi or, finally, Pulp Fiction, Tarantino's masterpiece. All of this is discussed in the new episode of ABìCinema, the handbook of the big screen, on FIRST Art of this weekend, the site promoted by FIRSTonline which will be available for free until the end of September.

But on the site dedicated to the world of art and cultural news there is much more. Do not miss the fascinating story of George Braques, the French artist friend of Pablo Picasso and true creator of Cubism: "I never see a painting in my mind before starting to paint it" said Braques who added: "Every painting is born by itself under the brush: I discover it only on the canvas”.

Other flagship services of FIRST Arte are the Sotheby's auction in London on two portraits by Van Dyck of the eldest sons of King Charles I of England and the Parisian exhibition “Sex, Religion, Politique” with new paintings by Albert Oehlen which will be hosted by two galleries in the French capital.
