Trade Finance, Unicredit takes first place in two categories in the Euromoney 2022 Survey

UniCredit was once again confirmed as “Best Global Trade Finance Bank for customer service” in the Euromoney Trade Finance Survey 2022, now in its eleventh edition. The results, which collect feedback from over 11 companies and financial institutions, compare banks in two categories: "Best Service", which evaluates customer service levels, and "Market Leader", which combines penetration, percentage business and turnover data to create an overall ranking of the best banks in trade finance.

Specifically, in the ranking "Best service” UniCredit maintained the global top spot for another consecutive year, as well as securing success in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia in the same category.

The banking institution led by Andrea Orcel also achieved great success in the category "Market Leader”, securing first place in the CEE area and in ten countries, namely Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia.

On the recognition, Luca Corsini, Head of Transaction and Payments of UniCredit, underlined that in the last year the bank has continued "to adapt to new market trends and approaches" and that these recognitions reaffirm their efforts. Riccardo Madinelli, Head of Transactions and Payments CE & EE at UniCredit, added that the bank will continue to make "innovative services and products" available to customers throughout the rest of 2022 and beyond.
