Visible Hands is back: the Marcello de Cecco Economics Days

Da Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September, in the Palazzo degli Studi of Lanciano (Chieti), will be held the third edition of "Visible Hands, the Marcello de Cecco Economics Days", an opportunity for debate and in-depth analysis of current socio-economic issues. Promoted by the Marcello de Cecco Association (amdec), the three days in Abruzzo will also be an opportunity to talk about Raffaele Mattioli, born in Vasto (Chieti) in 1895, first managing director (1933-1960) and then president (1960-1972) of the Banca Commerciale Italiana and protagonist of the country's economic and cultural life for forty years. The exhibition itinerary will be dedicated to the Abruzzo economist Raffaele Mattioli, humanist banker, civil servant, (which will be inaugurated during Mani Visibili), and which through images and quotations retraces the professional career of the great "humanist banker" through the rich heritage of documents and photographs conserved in Milan, in the Intesa San Paolo Historical Archive.

Delivery is also scheduled Marcello de Cecco Prize in Economics and History of Institutions a Giacomo Gabbuti, winner of the 2019 edition with his work To us! Fascism and income inequality. To reward the young scholar mario amendola (amdec president) e Ignazio Visco (Governor of the Bank of Italy).

Among the speakers of "Visible Hands, the Economy Days" there will be the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion Giuseppe Provenzano, the Governor of the Bank of Italy Ignazio Visco, the President of the Venice Biennale Paolo Baratta, the French economist Jean Paul Fitoussi.

All the speakers will be engaged in speeches on economic and financial topics of public interest and will have the common goal of combining the originality of De Cecco's scientific method with the ability to dialogue with a large audience. Also for this reason, the entire three days will be filmed and the videos will then be published on the amdec.it website and shared on social channels.

The complete program and further information are available on the website www.amdec.it.
