Inclusion, cohesion, study and research. These are the foundations of the projects carried out by the TIM Foundation and UniCredit Foundation, aimed at promoting the improvement of social conditions in the area. In particular, TIM Foundation approved a disbursement in favor of the Onlus Sanità di Frontiera to support the activities of two new centers in Rome, in the San Lorenzo and Ostiense districts, to support young foreigners and those in difficulty. While, UniCredit Foundation is once again launching several competitions for young European talents, to be supported through study and research. There are 8 calls for 32 scholarships and fellowships for a total amount of over 1,2 million euros.

In detail, the TIM Foundation has donated in total 150 thousand euros. The centers serve to provide support to minors and young adults at risk, or with psychological problems or addictions to drugs or alcohol. The services welcome young people to assess their vulnerability, learn about their specific needs in order to start prevention actions. The Frontier Health operators then evaluate the individual cases and activate any direct psychological support interventions.

Furthermore, the association is also carrying out training courses for the young foreigners with the aim of promoting better knowledge and intercultural interaction. The project also includes courses to respond to the different levels of needs, to facilitate integration but also those for job search.

"With this donation we want to be alongside Sanità di Frontiera in its effort so that no person is left behind - he declared Salvatore Rossi, President of the TIM Foundation -. Paying particular attention to the most vulnerable children gives a signal to society on how important social inclusion is, especially in a difficult moment such as the one we are experiencing".

Francesco Paolo Aureli, Director General of Frontier Health: “Thanks to the TIM Foundation for this important contribution which allows us to carry out projects that have a significant social impact on the younger generations. Our goal is to offer the foundations for integration that allow the most vulnerable children to look to the future with more hope. Thanks also to the Councilor for Social Policies of the VIII Municipality of Rome, Alessandra Aluigi, for her availability and institutional support”.
