6.5 earthquake in the center, fear in Rome

The earth is still shaking in central Italy. At 7:41 a very violent earthquake was felt, also felt in Rome. The earth shook for several seconds: the epicenter of the new shock, which was felt throughout Umbria and up to Ancona, was identified in the Norcia area. According to the seismographs of Ingv the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.5 and broke loose at a depth of 10 kilometers. If the magnitude were confirmed, it would be the most intense shock of the seismic sequence that began at 3,36 on 24 August, when the earthquake that destroyed Amatrice and Accumoli had a magnitude of 6.0.
