Long times for the development decree

   The time for the examination of the development decree is getting longer. The harvest of amendments that has been presented has led the Deputies' Budget and Finance commissions to officially ask the Presidency of the Chamber, with a letter, to move the approval of the measure to the courtroom, scheduled for next Monday, towards the end of the next week, approximately Friday.
   Moreover, the amendments presented, 1.541 to be exact, require time to be examined. The People of Freedoms was the group that presented the largest number of amendments: 479. Followed by the Pd (410) and then the League with 260. Then the IDV with 128, the UDC with 101, Fli with 91 , and then the "responsible" with 37, mixed-linguistic minorities 32, mixed-mpa-allies for the south 3. "We will use rigid criteria to evaluate eligibility - announces the vice president of the Budget Commission and one of the rapporteurs Giuseppe Marinello -. We hope to arrive at a definition by tonight and keep tomorrow for a possible re-proposition. I don't think we will start examining the decree before Thursday”. It is not excluded that the two commissions may also work on Sunday afternoons and on Mondays if the request to lengthen the discussion times is not accepted.  
   And in the meantime the shadow of trust reappears. The undersecretary for the economy, Alberto Giorgetti, is not making a big deal for the moment, but the hypothesis continues to hover: "It depends on the progress of the works", he says. Thus the hypothesis remains that the government decides to resort to trust, perhaps in the Senate, to guarantee approval by 12 July.
