Telecom Italia, Enrico Bondi indicted

The statements that triggered the accusation of perjury for Bondi, former head of Parmalat and Ilva of Taranto, date back to November 12, 2010, at the time when he was CEO of Telecom Italia and a "bug" was found in the his car.

The manager Enrico Bondi was indicted on the charge of perjury, in one of the lines of inquiry resulting from the investigation into the alleged illegal dossiers of Telecom Italia, a group of which Bondi he had been selected as CEO on July 31, 2001. The former head of personnel of Telecom Italia, Roberto Sweater, was also sent to trial with him.

The proceedings against them will begin on November 11 next before the fourth criminal section of the Milan court. The request for indictment had been made by the deputy prosecutor of Milan Alfredo Robledo and by the deputy prosecutor Antonio D'Alessio. The accusation concerns the statements made in relation to a bug found in the manager's car, precisely in the period in which he was managing director of the Tlc group.
