Tas, the queen of the 2016 Stock Exchange is on the Consob blacklist

Tas, a company specializing in software solutions for e-money, payment systems and financial markets, active in Europe and Latin America through its subsidiaries, gained 2016% in the 242 calendar year – but it is still making a loss and remains among the 24 companies on the Consob black list.

Tas, the queen of the 2016 Stock Exchange is on the Consob blacklist

She was the queen of Piazza Affari in 2016, with a 242% monster rally, but it is on the Consob black list, i.e. among those 24 listed companies for which the Stock Exchange Commission has asked to provide monthly rather than quarterly information on their corporate and financial situation, considered particularly sensitive. Tas, a company specializing in software solutions for e-money, payment systems and financial markets, active in Europe and Latin America through its subsidiaries, in the calendar year 2016 earned 241,97% to be precise, going from 0,4053 to 1,386 euros.

However, only 12% of the free float was on the market, so much so that recently the president Dario Pardi declared that "the free float will probably be increased". Meanwhile, Tas started 2017 exactly as it finished the previous year, that is gaining another 81% in its first five January sessions, only to then lose drastically in the session of Tuesday 10 January, only to then climb back above the 2,5 euro per share on Wednesday. An unequivocal sign that, like all thin stocks with a floating bottom, Tas is in the crosshairs of speculation which now pulls up and once again pulls down the stock, regardless of the fundamentals.

Tas therefore remains under the strict control of Consob, together with 23 other companies according to the latest bulletin issued by the Authority, because its net financial position, although slightly positive, is deemed to be monitored. As at 30 November 2016, the financial position was positive for around 5 million euro against, the company declares, a turnover of 50 million and bank debts of around 5 million maturing in 2020. In the first nine months of 2016, the income statement , albeit improving, is still in the red and reports a net loss of 3,6 million.

In the Consob update of January 2017, the companies under observation increased from 23 to 24: now there is also Il Sole 24 Ore.
