Startups, Mediaset and PoliHub are looking for start-ups to launch

Mediaset calls startups together and launches Digital Media Lab, an initiative promoted in collaboration with PoliHub, the incubator of the Milan Polytechnic, which rewards and supports the most innovative entrepreneurial projects in the Internet Media field.

The projects deemed most interesting after an initial selection phase will be the finalists and therefore invited to participate in a day of discussion aimed at one-to-one meetings with Mediaset managers and with university experts, to deepen mutual knowledge and to hypothesize win-win collaborations.

There are two categories of eligible projects: mobile advertising, that is, innovative projects aimed at monetizing editorial contents on Smartphones in the best possible way, through any advertising format; And second screen, that is, projects aimed at innovating and enriching interaction with television programs through Smartphones.

Some winning projects will then emerge from the finalists, which will be able to make use of an official collaboration with Mediaset and the Politecnico di Milano. In particular, the winners will be able to count on the support of Mediaset, with all its assets, to accelerate the achievement of their business objectives; they will be able to become partners/suppliers of Mediaset; and they can be hosted for 6 months within PoliHub, the incubator of the Milan Polytechnic, where they will be followed by mentors from the Polytechnic and Mediaset managers.

Registration must take place no later than 28 February 2015, clicking here. Different types of subjects can access this initiative: it is not necessary to be startups in the sector or developers who are already working on the product/service (even only at a test level), but also only natural persons with an innovative idea or companies that have been operating on the market for some time, but with innovative projects in the areas of interest, potentially susceptible to spin-offs.
