After the shy signs of hope register in the summer, come back to heavy drop in Spanish industrial production. In September, the figure on an annual basis recorded a decrease of 1,7%, against the slight increase (+0,3%) recorded the previous month. This was announced by the National Statistics Office of Spain (INE).
The drop in production had been forecast by analysts, but not in these proportions: in fact, a drop of 1,2% was estimated. The figure corrected for calendar effects shows a drop of 1,8% (no change in August).
