South Stream, Saipem asks for maxi compensation

Saipem has asked for a maxi compensation for the interruption of the South Stream project. On November 10, the oil group filed an arbitration request against South Stream Transport BV at the ICC in Paris. This is what emerges from the information document on the capital increase.

Saipem's demand is equal to approximately 759,9 million' requested as consideration due to both the suspension of the works (requested by the customer in the period December 2014/May 2015) and the subsequent termination for convenience of the contract notified on 8 July 2015 by the customer'.
