Sorgenia sells photovoltaics to the Americans: an 18 million operation

The transaction was finalized in recent days after the parties had already reached and signed an agreement for the sale in March: the American group Contour Global will pay 18 million euros – Overall, the transaction envisages an enterprise value of approximately 23 million euros and concerns photovoltaic systems for approximately 5 MW.

Sorgenia sells photovoltaics to the Americans: an 18 million operation

The sale of the photovoltaic to the American group Contour Global by Sorgenia, which collects 18 million euros for the deal, is now a done deal. The operation was completed in recent days after the parties had already reached and signed an agreement for the sale in March.

Overall, the transaction envisages an enterprise value of approximately 23 million euros and concerns photovoltaic plants for approximately 5 MW.

Thanks to this operation, the energy group therefore puts in cash a discreet dowry of liquidity (precisely 18 million) which, together with 15 million obtained from factoring with BNP, will allow it to continue to conduct ordinary business in the coming weeks while waiting for it to be defined the restructuring of the 1,9 billion euro debt and the simultaneous restructuring of the shares. 

At the opening of the session in Piazza Affari on title Cir, the De Benedetti family company that controls Sorgenia, loses 1% a 1,139 euro.
