Sogefi, net profit grows by 54,6% in the first half of 2011

The automotive components company communicates data for the period January-June 2011: revenues of 526,6 million, operating profit of 41,4 million and net debt of 167,6 million – The company has signed an agreement to buy the group Mark IV Systémes Moteurs.

Sogefi, net profit grows by 54,6% in the first half of 2011

Revenues of 526,6 million euros, up 15,1% on 2010. Net profit that marks a +54,6% on the previous year, at 15,3 million euros. These are the positive results with which Sogefi closed the first half of 2011. The operating result amounted to 41,4 million euros (+29,3%) while the net debt at 30 June 2011 was equal to 167,6 million, against 166,6 as at 31 March 2011.

The automotive components company of the Cir group increases its activity in all markets and for all types of vehicles. Sales grow in the United States (+73%) and progress continues in emerging countries (Brazil, China and India). Sales are also on the rise in Europe, especially in industrial vehicles.

Sogefi announced in recent weeks that it has signed an agreement, which is expected to be finalized in the third quarter, to acquire the Mark IV Systémes Moteurs auto components group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of air management and engine cooling systems.
