Smart working, Open Fiber signs post-Covid agreement

Open Fiber has perfected the trade union agreement for Smart Working post-emergency, which will start from the end of the state of emergency and will be experimental for 1 year.

The Fiber Working agreement envisages a form of mixed work, on the field, in the office and outside it, which will allow the activity to be carried out with greater flexibility, favoring a fair balance between work and private life; particular attention is paid to parenting, caregiving and other specific conditions.

«The pandemic crisis has forced us to work differently while keeping engagement high and focus on objectives», declares lvan Rebernik, Human Resources and Organization Director of Open Fiber, «we have learned many things and it is certain that for the future we need new capabilities and skills that we will consolidate together with our colleagues».

These days, Open Fiber employees receive the performance bonus, for an average value of 1.930 euros gross for the sixth level. The campaign to convert the bonus into Welfare goods and services sets a new record with a 43% conversion rate.

Open Fiber, which recently received the Top Employer and Great Place to Work 2021 certifications, continued to follow up on the hiring plan even in the midst of the pandemic, totaling around 300 new hires in the last 12 months.

Despite the health emergency, the company has continued to develop its industrial plan, confirming itself, with over 11,5 million real estate units connected to its ultrabroadband network, as the third FTTH (Fiber To The Home) operator in Europe, contributing predominantly investments in new infrastructures and the diffusion of advanced connectivity through the services offered by partner operators.
