A weekend of inconvenience for citizens who will have to travel by train this weekend. Sunday September 13th they have in fact been announced a series of strikes which, in all likelihood, will generate delays and cancellations throughout Italy. The protest was called by the trade union Cat.
The workers of Ntv - Italo and those of the Fsi - Tre Nord group will cross their arms. The strike will last 8 hours, from 9.00 to 17.00.
The strike called by Cup Traporti will also be held at the same time. Also in this case, the workers of Ntv - Italo, Ferrovie dello Stato, Tre Nord, Serfer and FerServizi stopped. The scheduled times are also identical: from 9.00 to 17 on Sunday 00 September.
Trenitalia announces that the Frecce di Frecce will circulate regularly and the connection between Rome Termini and Fiumicino airport will be ensured with the "Leonardo Express". The trains listed in the special table of trains scheduled in the event of a strike, which can be consulted on the official Trenitalia timetable and on the trenitalia.com website in the "in the event of a strike" section, will also be guaranteed.
The strike scheduled for the weekend brings back the theme of strike referendum which, according to the proposal of the Minister of Transport Graziano Delrio, should take place only with the consent of the majority of workers, given the strong impact that the protests of public sector employees have on almost all citizens. A plan that also recalls the reform promoted in the United Kingdom by David Cameron who foresees that before calling a strike the proposal must be approved by at least 40% of the members.
