Samsung presents tomorrow the new Galaxy S4: the revolution is Eye Tracking

The customized version of Android and above all the Eye Tracking, a sophisticated system that uses the front camera to keep eye movements under control, are the real novelties of the new Galaxy S4 that Samsung will present tomorrow - Similar design to the S3, larger dimensions and 5 inch screen.

Samsung presents tomorrow the new Galaxy S4: the revolution is Eye Tracking

Exactly three years after the presentation of the first Galaxy S model, tomorrow Samsung will unveil the new jewel, that of the definitive - hopefully in the Korean house - overtaking Apple's rivals: the launch of the Galaxy S,4, the most awaited smartphone of the year , is scheduled for tomorrow at Radio City Music Hall in New York and will be broadcast by blogs, websites and TVs from all over the world.

The timetable is unfortunate (19:8 local time, one in the Italian night), and in fact it will only allow Europeans to get to know the new product on Friday, but as always, there is no shortage of previews. First on the hardware. There is talk of an XNUMX-core Exynos processor, produced in-house by Samsung. An unprecedented technological exploit, which could have two interesting repercussions on daily use: the device would in fact be faster in executing complex programs, but above all it could better scale the computing power required for the various apps, consuming less energy. Result: the battery could last longer, and this would certainly be an improvement appreciated by all.

The camera and the screen should be improved by increasing pixels and inches (we are talking about 5 inches for the touch screen), while there should be no changes in the internal memory (16 or 32GB, expandable with SD card) and the Ram should be 2 GB.

The operating system should be the usual Android 4.2.2, even if the S4 should however have several original solutions compared to the standard version of Google's software. As with the previous model, Samsung should in fact introduce a personalized interface (it's called Touchwiz), some type of voice command, and above all Eye Tracking, a sophisticated system that uses the front camera to keep eye movements under control. Thus, for example, there would be no need to touch the screen to scroll a page or a long document: having reached the last line, the device would go on by itself, following the direction of the gaze, and would stop when we look away.

On the other hand, great news is not expected on the design: the new smartphone will probably be a little larger than the S3 (which will however remain in production), and in all likelihood it will take up the rounded corners and the plastic material chassis with removable back .
