The Salini Impregilo group has been awarded the contract for the construction of 21,5 km of the N7 national road which crosses Poland from north to south, connecting the city of Gdansk with the city of Krakow. It travels parallel to the A1 motorway representing Warsaw's eastern link with the cities in question.
The value of the contract is equal to 143 million euros. The works, which will last 22 months, include the construction of 21,533 km of dual carriageway class S, the construction of 3 junctions, 11 viaducts, 4 overpasses, 3 bridges, underpasses for cyclists and pedestrians, resurfacing of secondary and neighboring roads, environmental and acoustic protection, public green areas.
The group, according to a note, confirms its strong commercial capacity in order collection and consolidates its presence in the infrastructure sector of the country where it is already active in the construction works of the A1 motorway and the S8.
