Ryanair: "Free tickets, but more earnings on services"

The number one of the Irish company has a much more interesting project in mind for travelers from all over the world: “Our tickets – explained O'Leary – will have to be free and the costs will be covered with additional services such as snacks, internet, advertising ”.

Flying for free with Ryanair is no longer a utopia. This was stated by the CEO of the most famous low-cost airline in the world, Michale O'Leary who, during an interview with the German newspaper "Handesblatt" listed the savings percentages enjoyed in 2016 by travelers who chose Ryanair: “last year our tickets cost passengers on average 40% less than our competitors and our costs were 50-60% less. In the next five to six years we don't want to compete with anyone but we aim for controlled growth. We must be disciplined, without becoming, lazy, fat, old and satisfied.”

But the number one of the Irish company has a much more interesting project in mind for travelers from all over the world: “our tickets – continued O'Leary must be free” and the costs will be covered “with additional services such as snacks, internet , advertising". Currently these sectors already represent 30% of the total revenues of the company which is now focusing on a growth strategy that will have free tickets as its main objective. The manager also confirmed that Ryanair has given up on transatlantic routes: "we have ordered 400 planes in recent years because we wanted to grow in the short haul in Europe" and now "we take delivery of a new plane almost every week".
