RCS: strong trading of rights on the last day of the increase

Decisive day for the capital increase of RCS. The last few hours have been ignited by an enormous trading volume regarding the rights relating to the ordinary part of the recapitalization: almost half of the 108 million rights (52 million, or 48%) have changed hands, while prices rebound, +121% to 0,0084 euros, remaining, however, still far from the 1,4 euros of last June 17, the first day of the increase.

In the last day for the increase operation still remains to clarify the position of Diego Della Valle, which holds an 8,7% stake in the publishing group. In the absence of official statements from the owner of Tod's, the hypothesis that he could increase his share still seems to be excluded. According to il Sole 24 Ore, both Giuseppe Rotelli and Edizione, the holding company in the hands of the Benetton family, have freed themselves of this quota.

As far as shares are concerned, however, the Rcs share lost 2,76% at the end of the morning to 1,44 euros per share.
