The RCS assembly is open. Cairo Communication, the new controlling shareholder of Rcs, proposed at the meeting to extend the members of the board of directors of the Corriere della Sera publisher from 9 to 11.
The new board should therefore include seven directors from the majority list and four from the minority list.
In the first list, in addition to Urbano Cairo (president and CEO), there are Marco Pompignoli, Stefania Petruccioli and Stefano Simontacchi, the first two who entered the board with Cairo at the beginning of August and the last already present in the old board as a director indicated by the Piedmontese entrepreneur, then a minority shareholder. From the majority list will then come Gaetano Micciché, president of Banca Imi (Intesa Sanpaolo), destined for the vice-presidency, Maria Capparelli and Alessandra Dalmonte.
For minority shareholders, the entry of Diego Della Valle, Marco Tronchetti Provera (President of Pirelli), Carlo Cimbri (CEO of UnipolSai) and Veronica Gava is expected.
