For years the great photographer, who has changed the world of communications with his very strong images, has been making portraits in the squares of Italy and the world. RAZZA UMANA is the title of the exhibition, which after being exhibited in other prestigious spaces arrives in Vibo Valentia with dozens of portraits made in every corner of the planet.
«RAZZA UMANA is a socio-political, cultural and anthropological study – explains Toscani – we photograph the morphology of human beings, to see how we are made, what we look like, to understand the differences. We take somatic fingerprints and capture the faces of humanity».
Toscani, in addition to inaugurating the exhibition, will also be the main speaker of a truly unique workshop for the quality of the interventions entitled The craft of art. Three days of study which during the month of October (7th, 14th and 20th) will see important professionals alternating, ready to tell the Italian art system in detail. In addition to Toscani, there will be Sergio Gaddi, the "face of art" of La Vita in Diretta on Rai Uno; the Director of Palazzo Reale in Milan Domenico Piraina; the publisher Paola Gribaudo; the president of LOOP (leading company in Italy for technology, interaction design and art experience) Claudio Mazzanti; event producer Gianni Filippini; Rolling Stone Magazine art curator Nicolas Ballario; the director of exhibitions Francesca Silvestri, coordinator of the foreign office of Arthemisia Group, the most important Italian company for the production of art exhibitions. And it will be Arthemisia Group that will organize the exhibition and workshops, both promoted and produced by the Chamber of Commerce of Vibo Valentia.
