The Rifiutologo begins to speak. The free app created by the Hera Group for support its customers in separate waste collection, can now interact with Alexa, the artificial intelligence created by Amazon to give voice to the smart devices that everyone has by now.
Thanks to the Hera Group's commitment to innovation and digitalisation, separate waste collection has never been easier: the door-to-door function is already active, which informs about the collection days foreseen in your municipality for each material, but also the possibility of answering more specific questions, relating for example to a particular type of waste.
It can always happen that you don't remember the days when a certain material is withdrawn, but thanks to Alexa, it will be possible to wipe out any doubts with a simple question: "Alexa, ask the Wastelogist when they collect the card".
How to activate the application? Just download and open the Amazon Alexa app, access the "Skills and games” and type the Rifiutologo.
Otherwise you can connect directly to the Amazon site by typing "Skill the Wastelogist" in the search bar on the web page. Once the Skill has been enabled, simply query Alexa by saying: "Alexa open the Waste Specialist".
When you first log in, your personal assistant will ask for some basic information, such as the address, in order to access the collection mode of that particular area.
At that point, all you have to do is activate the voice command and say "Alexa, ask the Rifiutologo..." specifying the information you need each time.
Obviously new features are in the works which will make Alexa a real expert in separate waste collection, also integrating the other functions of the Waste Specialist, starting with the one that associates the correct method of conferment with each material or have information on any discounts on the municipal waste tax.
Where do you throw the cans? What about the ironing boards? Is a dumpster overfilled or damaged? The Rifiutologo is also useful for improving the quality of our differentiated collection, but above all of our life.
Other abilities that will be added are also the production of notifications that will anticipate user requests, such as when to expose the waste for the next days collections.
And when these features are integrated into Alexa, there will be no more excuses for not doing it right.
Furthermore, with Alexa it will be possible to receive answers on several municipalities at the same time, for those who own other properties in different cities, but also to always be updated in real time on all the news concerning the door-to-door collection service in your area.
