The magistrates of Milan have seized a letter in which an alleged agreement between Salvatore Ligresti and Mediobanca for the exit of the family from Premafin is alleged.
According to what has been learned, on 17 May at the Compass offices in Foro Bonaparte there was a meeting between Alberto Nagel, CEO of Mediobanca, and Salvatore and Jonella Ligresti from which an agreement would have resulted for the Ligresti family to leave the companies of the group in exchange for the value of 30% of Premafin, equal to approximately 45 million euro.
When he was heard by prosecutor Luigi Orsi, the engineer from Paternò allegedly declared that he had signed the agreement, but when prosecutors seized the letter, they found no signature.
