Consob has fined Salvatore Ligresti, Giancarlo de Filippo and Niccolò Lucchini for a total of 11,3 million euros for operational manipulation of Premafin stock in the period between November 2009 and September 2010. This is stated in four resolutions of the Authority published today.
Ligresti, Lucchini and de Filippo, we read in three resolutions, "have provided false and misleading information" on the price of the stock. Ligresti was sanctioned for 3 million euros to which is added a fourth resolution for another 300 thousand euros for not having responded to the request for information from the market regarding the Premafin shares registered to trusts attributable to him.
