Excellent start for Prada in Hong Kong, despite the fears of the eve: this morning the Tuscan group was listed on the Asian market, snubbing Piazza Affari. And the day for the stock started up, +1,3%, from 5,07 to 5,14 dollars.
A result, therefore, different from Samsonite, which had carried out its IPO in Hong Kong in recent days, however losing 7,7% in the initial rush. Prada, after having initially established a range for the price between 4,7 and 6,2 dollars, had then found itself obliged to narrow the range to 5/5,42 and to sell at the minimum price of five dollars, given that the half of the 42,3 million shares destined for institutional investors would have risked remaining unsold. During today's offer Prada was able to place 423,3 million shares, thus obtaining 2,14 billion dollars.
