Poltrona Frau closes the first half with a profit of 2 million compared to 0,4 million euro in the first half of 2012, thanks to the higher pre-tax profit and the consequent lower incidence of the tax burden.
Revenues recorded an increase of 8% following the recovery of the Residential sector (+1,2%), thanks to new openings and the growth of emerging markets and, in particular, of the Greater China and India area which recorded a progress of 36%, the good performance of Luxury Interiors (+2,9%) and the excellent performance of Luxury in Motion (+30,1%) compared to the same period of 2012. Ebitda up 30% to 11 million EUR.
The operating result amounted to 7,3 million, an increase of over 33% compared to the same period of the previous year mainly thanks to the growth in the EBITDA. On the Stock Exchange, however, the Poltrona Frau share loses almost 5% in Piazza Affari.
