Poletti: more traceability for vouchers

"In order to eliminate illicit behavior or circumvention of the law, in the next modification of the decrees of the Jobs Act we will introduce an intervention that expands the instrumentation for the traceability of vouchers, establishing the obligation for the company to communicate via text message or electronically before using these tools”. This was announced on Tuesday by the Minister of Labour, Giuliano Poletti, during question time in the Chamber.

"This is the first thing we can do: of course - continued the minister - we will continue monitoring and, in the face of problems that continue to occur, naturally at that point we will have to make different reflections on the application and construction of a new and different legislation ”.

Poletti also announced that "a complete report will be published in the next few days, with all the data and all the elements in our possession, so that everyone can promptly verify the situation that has arisen, and therefore also any interventions on the merits".

At the moment, "what I can anticipate - concluded the minister - is that the use of vouchers has marked a surge since the changes introduced with law 92 of 2012, which expanded the fields of activity for using vouchers, and that at the sectoral level the most significant data of increase concern commerce, services and tourism”.
