Rome, 8 May 2024 – Poste Italiane presented the new eCommerce services dedicated to small and medium-sized businesses at the NetComm Forum 2024, the most important Italian event dedicated to electronic commerce. In line with the omnichannel evolution of the Company and with the new strategies outlined in the 2024-2028 Industrial Plan The Connecting Platform, Poste Italiane's offering represents an important lever for the digital growth of SMEs, guaranteeing a complete range of services and modular: from financial services to logistics and telephony, up to collection and payment systems.

An advanced offer that adds to the bill BancoPosta Business Link, manageable through the PosteBusiness App, provides MPos PostePay to receive collections and make electronic payments on the move, without fixed monthly costs, the solution Pay with Postepay designed to simplify payments for e-shoppers, thanks to the 30 million Poste Italiane cards, up to express courier services with Poste Delivery Business which allows you to send documents and goods to private recipients and companies, in Italy and abroad, with numerous value-added options for both the sender and the recipient.

The importance of sustainability in the development of Poste Italiane's logistics has led the company to develop the Green Index, an indicator for calculating CO2 emissions. Thanks to this tool, client companies will be able to measure for each single shipment the emissions savings that the use of Poste Italiane as a courier generates and therefore the reduction of their carbon footprint.

The company also participated in the event with two workshops dedicated to:

PosteGoFresh: the first refrigerated delivery service for fresh food purchased online, already active in over 25 Italian provinces, including Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Genoa, will be extended to many other cities during 2024. The offer Poste Italiane allows a high level of customization of delivery methods, with the guarantee that the goods will remain at a controlled temperature between 0 and 4 degrees.

Boxless: the solution attentive to environmental sustainability which simplifies shipping and returns operations, does not require the box, which is made available directly in Post Offices or in the over 15.500 PuntoPoste, the network made up of tobacconists, bars, stationery shops, service stations, newsstands for collecting or returning parcels.

Poste Italiane's leadership in the logistics and payments sector favors the further development of eCommerce, encouraging citizens' increasingly widespread access to online purchases, and represents a driving force for the growth of turnover, margins and exports of small and medium-sized Italian companies.
