Pirelli, the site for the backstage of the 2017 calendar is born

A new site dedicated to the Pirelli Calendar to learn about its history and, above all, to discover the various creative phases of the next edition. AND' www.pirellicalendar.com, a digital platform which, thanks to videos and exclusive interviews, allows visitors to travel the history of over 50 CalTM, live the backstage experience of the new Calendar and follow the edition step by step, together with its author Peter Lindbergh 2017 which will be unveiled at the end of November.

A first interview with the great German photographer, images of the places in the next Calendar and a video "captured" behind the scenes are just some of the exclusive materials that are available on the site from today and will be enriched over the next few weeks. As early as next week, the names of the protagonists and the first backstage shots of the new edition of The CalTM will be revealed.

The new Behind The Scenes: Making of The Cal section, in particular, will accompany the reader alongside the Pirelli Calendar work team over the next few months, allowing them to witness the process of creating the artistic work of a great photographer.

Not only. The Icons section of the site - dedicated to dialogue with illustrious representatives of the world of art, culture, entertainment, fashion, sport and music - is now enriched with an exclusive interview with Andrea Bocelli which follows those already made with Roberto Bolle, Candice Huffine, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Newson and Serena Williams.

Stories, curiosities and initiatives related to the Calendar and linked to the world of art, such as international exhibitions or presentations, are at the center of the Stories section.

Lastly, the 43 editions of the Calendar are explored in the Time Machine area, where images and summaries of the "backstage" videos are presented over decades, in a virtual journey through the evolution of aesthetics and customs also through comments that contextualize periods from a historical-political point of view.

The www.pirellicalendar.com site joins the www.pirelli.com project which, since its launch 9 months ago, has recorded over one million visits to the stories with which it tells the company every day, with contents ranging from the product to the culture, from business to sustainable management, from the Pirelli Calendar to Motorsport.
