Ren Jianxin is the new president of Pirelli and his deputy is Marco Tronchetti Provera, former CEO of the company. The company communicates it in a note, specifying that the president is assigned the legal representation of the group and that Tronchetti Provera is responsible for the operational management of Pirelli.
In addition to Ren Jianxin, the Pirelli board also co-opted Yang Xingqiang, Wang Dan, Tao Haisu and Zhang Junfang to replace directors Anna Maria Artoni, Didier Casimiro, Ivan Glasenberg, Petr Lazarev and Igor Soglaev, who had resigned last 14 October (effective from 19).

Through the industrial path that we have designed together with Marco Tronchetti Provera, with whom I share the passion for work and the desire to further grow Pirelli, and thanks to the quality of the company's management, I see great prospects for future development on the horizon ”.
In turn, Tronchetti Provera observed: "I am pleased to welcome Ren Jianxin as chairman" and added that ChemChina's entry into the shareholding structure alongside Camfin and its Russian partners "offers new opportunities for growth and development thanks to our geographical complementarity and the synergies that we will achieve in the Industrial segment”.
