Weak too Wall Street despite the encouraging data on home sales and the positive adjustment of the PMI. After hitting a new all-time high on Friday, Wall Street's S&P500 index dropped slightly (-0,1%) in the middle of the session. The Dow Jones and Nasdaq also fell 0,1%.

The Markit PMI index of US manufacturing rose to 57,5 in June from 56,4 in May, a four-year high, economists had expected a drop to 56.

In the USA new home sales rose to 4,89 million in May (annualized figure), 4,9% more than in April, economists had expected 4,74 million homes sold.

Meanwhile the euro weakens to 1,358 from 1,360 yesterday. The BTP strengthens and its yield drops by four basis points to 2,90%.

Il Wti-type oil it retreats after two consecutive days of increases and trades at 106,5 dollars a barrel (-0,4%).

Eni it rose by 0,6%, in line with the Stoxx index of oil companies. Saipem is down 1,4%. In the USA. Chevorn gains 0,5%, Conoco Phillips +1%, Occidental Petroleum +1,1%. Exxon gains 0,3%.

Bad day for the credit sector.
