Piazza Affari gains 1,1% and is the best European Stock Exchange: Popolari and real estate are running

MILAN AT THE TOP PUSHED BY THE BANKS. FINMECCANICA GOES INTO ORBIT, FCA ADVANCES

Piazza Affari returns to its spring highs, driving the positive movement of the European stock exchanges. The FtseMib index rose by 1,1%, the Paris Stock Exchange gained 0,3%, Frankfurt +0,3%. The euro/dollar exchange rate is stable at 1,085, from 1,083 on Friday evening.

On Wall Street, the S&P500 lost 0,1%, the same variation for the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq. James Ballard, president of the St Louis Fed said today that the chances of a rate hike in September are 50/50. Oil down slightly: Brent at 56,8 dollars a barrel (-0,5%), Wti at $50,4 (-0,8%). In Milan they go up Eni +0,5% and Saipem + 0,7%.

The descent of gold continues, traded at 1.109 dollars an ounce (-2,1%). Promoting the relaunch is theoptimism about the Greek crisis: today the banks in the country have reopened, even if the limits on the withdrawal of capital remain in force and the Athens Stock Exchange is still closed. The Athens government has ordered the repayment of over 6 billion to international creditors.

Great exploit of Finmeccanica +2,9%, which signed a 160 million dollar contract with the Russian Roseneft for the supply of 10 helicopters. Fiat Chrysler +1,6%. The denial on the advances of several private equity companies interested in buying Magneti Marelli (components) had no effect. 

Cnh Industrial gained 0,9%. In the Agnelli stable Exor +0,71% made a new raise on PartnerRe. Lead the top ten blue chips Mediobanca +4,1%, following the promotion by Bank of America which restarted coverage with a Buy judgment, target price at 11 euro. Salt too MontePaschi +2,4%, ahead of Understanding +1% ed Unicredit + 0,5%. Pop.Milan +2% leads the race of the Popular cars. Also noteworthy is the rebound of Azimuth + 3,6%.
