The Pontedera-based company made purchases for a total of 2,5 million euros, while - again in the Colaninno galaxy - Omniaholding rose to 50,3% of Immsi. Similar operations also for Exor and Reply

For Piaggio it's time for a buyback

Flurry of purchases of treasury shares during these days of declines for the Piaggio group. The buybacks were carried out between August 3 and 5 at an average price of 2,3759 for an amount of 381.500 shares and between August 8 and 11 at an average price of 2,1989 for an amount of 971.808. These are total purchases for a value of 2.518.453 euros according to the buyback plan authorized by the shareholders' meeting of April 2011.

Piaggio (+4,11% on the Stock Exchange at 2,28 euro) now holds 1,0478% of its share capital (corresponding to 3.896018 treasury shares). On the galaxy of Roberto Colaninno it should also be noted that in the same period, between 4 and 11 August, Omniaholding increased its stake in Immsi, the industrial holding company through which it controls Piaggio. Indeed, Omniaholding rises to 50,302% of Immsi's share capital after purchasing 392.782 Immsi shares, at the weighted average price of 0,6259 euro per share, for a total value of 245.832,48 euro. But the purchases of treasury shares to service the buyback plans are proceeding apace thanks to the discounts also for many other companies in the Stock Exchange.

From today's communications it emerges that Exor and Reply also went shopping:

1) Between August 8 and August 12, Exor purchased 80 ordinary treasury shares, 62 preference shares and 17 savings shares. Exor currently holds 4.710.500 ordinary shares (2,94% of the category), 10.858.184 preferred shares (14,14% of the category).

2) Between 5 August and 11 August Reply bought 1.700 ordinary treasury shares at an average price of 17,2901 euro per share, for a total value of 29.393,10 euro and 553.245 savings shares (6,03% of the category) . And from Monday the purchase communications also involved Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso, Yoox, Carraro, I Grandi Viaggi, Benetton and Interpump
