Plaice: intolerable stalemate Municipalities on infrastructure

"Administrative inaction with respect to some important growth prospects for infrastructure linked to gas production is intolerable“. This was stated by the Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Corrado Passera, speaking in the Industry Committee of the Senate, which is examining the decree law on liberalisations. The text is reported in the parliamentary bulletin. This is a clear reference to the difficulties created by some administrations for the placement of the regasification terminals (the plants that allow the fuel to be brought back from the liquid state to the gaseous state).

Passera then underlined that particular "attention must be paid" to completing the "effective separation of the entire activity of the Snam group from Eni“. The minister agrees on the "urgency" of "a moratorium on credit to businesses, on the opportunity to investigate the tax aspects linked to late payments, on the offer of more insurance policies when a bank loan is stipulated". He also reiterated the "willingness to evaluate the separation of BancoPosta from the postal system, provided that due account is taken of the narrow operating margins of the latter".
