The market digital payment cards it is growing strongly in our country (+9% last year, to 240 billion euro). And while the Government thinks about one "single card" to be managed by the Post Office to encourage traceable operations, even private operators are working hard to be in the game. After nexi (and the same Post, which however are public), also takes the field SisalPay, the payment services brand of the Sisal group, which celebrates its tenth year of life by launching on the market SisalPay card.

Available to the public for three months already, it was only officially presented in recent days. For the moment it can be activated in 5 thousand retail outlets Sisal, which however will increase to 20 thousand within the year.

Basically, Carta SisalPay is a prepaid Mastercard with Iban which does not require having a bank account. The fee is five euros a year, while each top-up costs one and a half euros, with a maximum rechargeable amount of one thousand euros at a time. ATM withdrawals cost one euro, as well as wire transfers made through home banking.

For the activation procedure, you must register on the site and have a smartphone. The data requested are those identifying the identity card plus the tax code.
