Nokia, the first Android smartphone is coming: it's called "Normandy" and will be presented at the end of the month

On the occasion of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Nokia could unveil "Normandy". The first Android smartphone signed by the Finnish house. The indiscretion comes from Wall Street Journal and the appointment is set for February 24th.

An unexpected choice for Nokia, especially after the official sale, announced in September, of the mobile division to Microsoft. But the drop in turnover in the fourth quarter of 2013 it may have played a decisive role.

According to the WSJ, the new smartphone would come with a modified version of Google's operating system and a special application store from which to download selected Android apps. In fact, the phone would not natively support the Play Store and various BigG services, but will alternatively offer services and applications from the Nokia world. It would practically be a "hybrid" terminal, with a Google brain and a Windows-like user interface.

However, the iniddiscretion does not stimulate the Stock Exchange, where at 13 pm the Nokia Corporation share lost 0.19%.
