Nexi and CBI, the consortium promoted by ABI for innovation in the payments market, have entered into a partnership. The goal is to work on the CBI Globe open banking platform, which has so far supported around 300 payment service providers in the technical adaptation activities required by the Payment Services Directive (PSD2), allowing the entire banking industry to achieve significant savings , estimated up to about 180 million.
"CBI and Nexi are actively working with dedicated resources in order to implement the new functionality by April 2020," said Liliana Fratini Passi, general manager of CBI, in a statement.
