Digital Magics, venture incubator listed on AIM Italia, launches the innovative startup Almadom. us: the new system of home automation which - by inserting it inside the electrical boxes and replacing the switches in the house - controls lights, thermostats, sockets, shutters, valves and even other objects connected to the internet.
The digital start-up was founded by Marco Zanchi and Alessandro Benedetti, who hold 86%, Digital Magics (10%) and Mario Molinari (4%), CEO of Mover Investimenti and Co-Founder of Sorgenia – boasts twenty years of experience in the energy sector. Almadom.us joins the portfolio of the certified incubator Digital Magics, which supports the innovative startup with its acceleration services for the growth and technological and strategic development of the company.
The Italian smart home company offers an aftermarket technological product, which does not need interventions and work at home; easy to install; all-in-one, a single object with many functions, competitive in terms of costs. The innovative interface of Almadom.us is user friendly and easy to use: via touchscreen, smartphone, tablet, PC or even via voice commands. Its microcomputer controls household appliances and electronic devices directly connected via electric cables, communicates via Wi-Fi with other Almadom.us and through home automation technologies with IoT (Internet of Things) devices present in the house.
Almadom.us is designed to make money smart small and medium apartments, SME offices and holiday homes. The goal of Almadom.us is to reduce electricity and gas bills every year from 300 to 700 Euros and carbon dioxide emissions by 700 kg1: to do so, it can count on its intelligent software, on presence sensors in rooms and on the energy monitor. The Almadom.us system learns from users' habits, without changing them, and acts autonomously, improving people's comfort.
The startup is already working to forge relationships with the most important operators in the electricity and gas sector with a view to guaranteeing further savings to users in the future by providing them with the tools to become active consumers.
